Whitewater Rafting
About
ICO Rafting is an all-volunteer outreach program of the Sierra Club that provides whitewater rafting trips for people in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a focus on young people from urban communities and other groups without access to river activities. Since 1979, when ICO leaders became trained as whitewater guides, the program has taken over 10,000 people whitewater rafting. ICO Rafting offers trip planning, guide training, and leadership development through wilderness experiences.
