Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC) is a premier whitewater rafting outfitter operating since 1972, offering guided rafting trips on multiple rivers across the Southeast including the French Broad, Nantahala, Chattooga, Ocoee, Pigeon, and Chattahoochee rivers. They specialize in family-friendly whitewater experiences with various trip lengths, instruction courses, and outdoor education programs. NOC also offers additional activities including kayaking, paddling instruction, fly fishing, tubing, mountain biking, and lodging at their 500-acre Nantahala Adventure Resort.
