Sierra Mac River Trips is a family-owned, locally-based rafting outfitter founded in 1965, located 15 miles outside Yosemite's northwest entrance on Highway 120. They specialize in guided whitewater rafting trips on the Tuolumne River, Merced River, and Cherry Creek, offering half-day to multi-day adventures ranging from mild Class III to intense Class V rapids. Sierra Mac was the first outfitter on the Merced and Tuolumne Rivers and pioneered Class V commercial rafting on Cherry Creek.
