Sierra South has been guiding whitewater rafting adventures on the Kern River for over 41 years since 1985. Located only 3 hours north of Los Angeles in Kernville, they offer a wide variety of rafting trips ranging from beginner-friendly half-day trips to multi-day overnight expeditions. In addition to rafting, they operate the oldest, largest, and most experienced whitewater kayaking school in Southern California, plus rock climbing lessons and mountain bike shuttles.
